One Run For Boston

Post by kodi30 on Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:40 pm

This was a fantastic idea of a couple Englanders. Check out this URL: http://onerunforboston.org/

I, along with three friends split one of the legs because I knew I couldn't maintain the pace they hoped for people to run. The run was about one hour behind time. We actually started about 8:45 this morning and it was 99ยบ. I ran the first part with my friend Ron. 3.8 miles time was 51 minutes. Slow but what a great event. Two of my other friends, Karen & Shaun, ran the rest of the distance (total distance was 9.5) and made up my time. So happy I was able to be part of it.
