Interval Training For Heart Patients - The Mayo Clinic

Post by Dave Tuttle on Fri May 17, 2013 5:13 pm

Very interesting video that Mike found... He's been too busy to check in here so I'm posting for him.

Guess I better get to work on intervals!

The stuff works......a couple of caveats tho...'pre-conditioning' and proper evaluation.
My cardio always preaches moderation...which is a fairly non-specific directive.

I know if I listen to the bio-feed back carefully , I won't overdo the workout.

When I'm training for an event I usually do one day of track intervals weekly. I vary between 200s and 1600s. I like 800s best. The number of repeats depend on time and how I feel.
