Summerhill 5K

Post by twal on Sat Apr 11, 2015 12:32 pm

Notice that the race was held in SummerHILL not SummerFLAT. Wasn't a whole lot of flat in this course. First mile had an uphill but was mostly a screaming downhill. My splits reflected the terrain 6:56, 8:48, 8:31. Official time was 26:14 (8:26/mi) but my GPS said the distance was 3.23 mi (8:07/mi).

Anyway, one of the top guys in my age group showed up and I got pushed back to a distant second out of 8 in the 60-64 group (44 out of 277 overall).
