Annual Miles

Post by twal on Wed Dec 31, 2014 5:51 pm

I just compiled my statistics for 2014 and it was a pretty good year. I ran 1113 miles in 295 runs. I also road biked 305 miles and mountain biked 175 miles. Since I started tracking miles, I have run 58,073 miles.

How was your year? I hope 2014 was great and 2015 will be even better.

That's a great year Tom and 58,073 miles is an awesome total!!  cheers

I like keeping track of my miles too, it helps keep me motivated. I was actually surprised to see I ran 809 miles this year which is down from my usual 1,000 plus miles due to my knee problems but I'm happy under the circumstances. I did some cross training on my bike this year too and logged over 700 miles... Total miles running since OHS; 13,787

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Sort of a low mileage year for me at 863, but 37,419 over 37 years keeps my average above 1000. Ran 20 races from 200 meters to 15 Km.

I always try to start the new year off on Jan 1 with a 3.5 mile race in Albany NY. This will be my 26th time at that one.

676.1 for me.  I have no idea how I squeezed that many miles in during a year filled with 3 kids, full time work and a Massive home makeover.  I know this much, I could have used night vision on 99% of those runs Smile

I calculated my mileage from Log a Run and Garmin.  I walked and ran 635.41 miles in 2014. I forgot I was logging miles on both sites and was double dipping a little. Razz

From LogArun, I came up with:

General Report for DonMan

From 12/31/2013 to 12/31/2014  (I had to use a slightly different date range than Gary to get 365 days)

Overall
Total Miles: 1694.00 Miles
Days Run: 222
Total Days: 365
Percentage: 60.82 %
Biggest Running Streak: 16 days
Current Running Streak: 3 days
Number of Runs: 231

Activities
Swim: 9.9422 miles

My miles were slightly up from last year but not up to the 2,000+ mile average I had in 2010-2012 due to my hamstring injury and my DVT problem.  One of my goals will be to keep injury free in 2015 and get back to a 2000+ mile year (maybe 2015 for 2015??) Very Happy
