I didn't stay up to watch the game.  I decided a couple of years ago that college football was a dumb sport (Gary and Rachel know why Sad ).  I just learned of the blow out this morning. What a fantastic accomplishment for Ohio State -- hat off to them.  I recall the pundits suggesting that Ohio State didn't belong in the championship because they weren't the same team with their injured quarterbacks.   Then came the destruction of Wisconsin.  Then the victory over Alabama.  Then finally the authoritative championship victory.  OK, I'll never be an OSU fan, but I LOVE IT when sports pundits get proven wrong.

Hey Gary - how long until nobody cares about "the game?"  Did last night finally render it an historical artifact?

I know I'm still a bit sleepy, but did he just call me an historical artifact?

It was a dark day here in Eugene. It seemed fitting that the Oregon football complex was covered in a dense fog during my morning run.

there was a television presentation of something that resembled a football game.....I guess it's that pseudo-food product that glows in the dark (ahem..ayuh..cheeseballs) for the victors...sour grapes for the non-victors.
