5k in Frankenmuth, Mich July 4th

Post by marathonman60 on Mon Jul 07, 2014 9:36 am

I did a run/walk on July 4th. My son did 20 k and got 2nd in age group. My daughter ran 10 k for her second race ever, and son in law ran 5k. They are from Wisconsin and met me there for chicken, fireworks, and shopping.

Did you run through that covered bridge up there in Frankenmuth?  I remember that town from my Great Lakes Relay years. Congratulations on the excellent placement too.

Gary,
Yes. All the races go thru the bridge. Fun with family running races too.

Marathonman,
I have family up in that part of Michigan. If you live up there we should plan to meet. There could be enough interest to do a small function.
Let me know,
kc
