Niagra Trip

Post by RoadKillBill on Tue Jun 24, 2014 9:38 pm

We made a last minute decision to take a weekend bike ride in Ontario's Niagra region. We started at Lake Ontario, then rode along the Niagra River to Lake Erie where we spent the night. We returned by the same route the next day. It was a very scenic, pleasant and leisurely ride. We're working our way up to a more ambitious trip Wink

Sounds like fun!  I know it was last minute....but....hey, that's my old stomping ground!  Hope you enjoyed the Chinese  restaurants and strip joints in a Fort Erie!  :-)

Nice trip, I really enjoyed the wine country along the river and Niagra on the Lake on our visits there, very beautiful.

You bet. We'll plan a longer trip, take a detour by your house before we pedal on to Quebec. Maybe meet up with Tom in Thousand Islands. It won't be too long before we're retired and won't be crunched for time!
