Senior Olympics gold medal

Post by mikenall on Mon Jun 23, 2014 10:47 pm

7/14/2000 - AMI/stent
9/17/2010 - Carotid endarterectomy
8/9/2013 - Dual chamber pacemaker
6/21/2014 - Gold medal - Triathlon - Ohio Senior Olympics

I have no idea at this point how many people were in my age group, but I don't care.  Good excuse to go back to the Twin Cities next year for the National Senior Games.

Congratulations Mike!!

What a great victory especially after having to scrap this race that you paid for last year due to your HR problem... Yes, we want details!

Congratulation on the Senior Games Tri Mike  cheers

I may do the MN qualifier - it's on August 17th - if I do, I'll see you at the starting line next year in Minnesota.  I think my qualifier will be on the same course as the 2015 race.

That is fantastic! I wonder what the competitors behind you would think if they knew your heart history!
