Hello Haggis, welcome to the group.

I see you're from Australia, do you know our friend Tony aka Coppertone?

Hi Dave
Yes, I know Tony well. Haven't actually met, but talked a few times on other sites. We might have talked before - I am called 'scotty' on 'cardiacathlete.org'.
Had bad back for 4 weeks -No training!
I am not too good on the computer - self-taught and learning everyday.
Had AVR (piggy) 12/08/2011

Sure, I remember you Haggis Basher... Glad you found us!

Are you recovered from the back problem now or still working through it? I've been dealing with back problems too and it can really put a damper on your activity level.

Hi All
Thanks for welcome.
Rachel: you had your op 1 month before me, and same piggy valve! Nice photo of you, you run tall, not like the hunchbacks behind you!

Dave: Still got bad back; had first jog yesterday. Felt like a 74 year old man - Gosh! I am that age. (LOL)

Dave, I thought I was the only old one in this group! I've been running forever.. My knees feel it every morning, but I'm not giving up!!! See you in NY on Saturday!

I think old is a state of mind Judi and you don't sound old to me... We have several masters runners here with whole lot of miles on them
