Compression Socks

Post by kodi30 on Thu Apr 18, 2013 7:45 pm

Wasn't sure whether this should be General Discussion or Anthing and Everything.

Who runs with compression socks? What is your thoughts and feelings about them? I just bought a pair and have used them two times and would like to know what others think about them.

Another thing...why am I getting NEW & RESPOND in French? Smile

Well, we are an international group after all. clown Actually I think it's one of the quirks of a free forum. We haven't been able to fix it...

I can't help you with the compression socks Mel but I think Brian has been wearing them.

I just bought calf compression sleeves at the Heart Mini in Cincinnati last month and absolutely love them. I didn't want the full sock as I really like the socks I use now and don't want to change them. The ones I bought are from CEP and are meant for running, not recovery.

I couldn't imagine wearing those. I have legs like tree trunks. Really, 17" calves at least. I always had trouble with mid-calf dress socks. They simply wouldn't stay up. I can envision those drooping down as I run.

The ones I bought are from RoadRunner sports. They are for running and that's when I wear them. I just leave them on until I'm ready to shower. My legs feel better after running with them, whether I take them off right away or wait.
