London Bridge Half Marathon

Post by kodi30 on Thu Apr 18, 2013 7:39 pm

This is a race right here where I live. Nice course. I've run it five of the six times. I hoped for 2:50 +/- 5 minutes but lack of good training and race day heat (73 at the 7:00AM start) had a big say in in and I finished in 2:57:00. Only two signed up in my age group and the other didn't show up. Sometimes it's good to be old. Smile

That old thing really comes in handy sometimes. Smile

Despite not hitting your goal time, you did great! Well done!

Nice Mel, An age group win counts no matter what the circumstances... If it was easy there would have been dozens there in your age group.

Mel,
Nice job. I have never won my age group and probably never will.
