Odd stuff

Post by Marc Thayer on Sat Feb 01, 2014 9:20 pm

For those that might be looking to go just a tad alternative/minimal and got some cash to burn:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3over7/the-wool-runners-no-socks-no-smell

And this also came up on the 'radar'

http://runjanji.com/index.php?route=common/home

I've never seen a Kickstarter completely sell out like that. Looks like a pretty nice shoe. I think far too many shoes now are simply too complex, and this one is a simple as it can get.

Cool links! Good to know about Janji - and didn't Gary used to run without socks back in the day? I'm sure his feet did not stink......

Oh they certainly DID. In fact, I wasn't permitted to bring them into the house. They stayed out in the garage after a run. And you know what...we never had a single critter, not even a spider, that was ever seen in that garage.

Oh, and I would purchase a pair of those woolen shoes if it weren't for the outlandish price. That, and the fact that I still have dozens and dozens of other shoes to wear out first.

Hmmm....NO spiders?!?!?! I'm going to suggest that my husband leave his shoes in the garage......that should take care of the ants, spiders AND any small animals that happen to walk by.....

Careful now. The skunks might just love to cuddle up with his shoes.
