First run/walk since back injury

Post by marathonman60 on Thu Oct 31, 2013 9:38 am

I did 3 miles run/walk yesterday. The running felt good. I couldn't do this a few weeks ago. Slow build up.

I did a 5k this morning. First race since July 4th. I walked a little - it was too cold to walk much. Beat 3 people.

Smart move to pick a race where it is more uncomfortable to walk than run. Well done!!

Nice job!!! I'd like to get together one of these days.....when you feel up to it - let me know if there's an event coming up in your area.....I'll run with you and visit family in one shot (evidently I need motivation to see family....)

Rachel,
Where is family? I'm in Rochester. I'll check race schedules.

Close enough - Northville - so pretty much anywhere around "the Detroit area" is good with me!!!!
