Thanksgiving Run

Post by Rachel August on Sun Oct 27, 2013 12:14 pm

My husband has to work this Thanksgiving (for the first time ever) so I just signed up for a Thanksgiving event/run. This event is a little out of the way for me, but I’m going because it’s the only 10K in my area on Thanksgiving day....plus I’m not looking for anything more than some fresh air and something to keep myself busy while my husband is working (afterwards I’ll be volunteering at our local mission - turning the day into a positive - probably should have been doing stuff like this all along)

What a great way to spend the holiday!
Very positive, indeed. Smile

Rachel,
Sounds like a great plan. Your a wonderful example of life handing you a lemon and you have decided to turn it into lemonade.

Good for you Rachel. We all should be a little more giving but too often life gets in the way.
